Originally written in the mid-1800s by Fr. Andre-Jean-Marie Hamon, a holy French priest, this five-volume set has a beautiful new layout and new formatting yet retains the charm of the original text. A time-honored guide for daily personal spiritual direction since the mid-1800s, many generations of families have handed down "Meditations for All the Days of the Year" to their children. Whether or not you have a spiritual director, these daily readings will guide your soul through today's turbulent times--bringing you closer to God and assisting your growth in virtue. These prayerful, thought-provoking, and powerful lessons will help you achieve holiness on your journey towards a joyful and happy life, while making firm strides toward Heaven. This five-volume set promises to become a family heirloom that you will hand down for generations, too. About the author: Born in 1795, Fr. Andre-Jean-Marie Hamon was to become a professor of dogma at the seminary of St. Sulpice in Paris in 1821, a seminary superior in 1843, and later, pastor of St. Sulpice in Paris in 1851. Fr. Hamon turned down the office of Bishop all three times it was offered to him, preferring instead to work with the poor and write spiritual works. He published a number of works anonymously or sometimes used the pseudonym J. Huen-Dubourg, borrowed from his mother's name, Lehuen-Dubourg. Fr. Hamon died in 1874.
This daily meditation book for the year 1998 is drawn from the provocative pages of "Conversations with God, Book 2", with space for the reader's own thoughts and meditations. A great tool for building a new tomorrow one day at a time.
The intent of this book is to spread the joy of the Lord to those who know Him--those who join in fellowship with others so that we can rejoice in peace, grace, rest, love, and knowledge of what God has done for us. We look forward to Heaven and seeing our loved ones again. We remember this world is not our home; we are just passing through. We join in fellowship with others to share the love of God with those in need and seeking the lost.
Hello and welcome to your new Drawing Meditations coloring book, complete with 36 unique designs. A Drawing Meditation is not your average work of art. Each piece begins with a specific theme, however, the end product is unknown and materializes as the 'meditation' ensues. My work is based upon a moment-to-moment concentration of each form and how it might progress and flow with each additional shape. Every drawing is completely unique. I like to think that the drawings decide how they will manifest themselves - I simply sit back, draw, and observe what unfolds. Enjoy your 'meditation', your day, and this moment. A completely new translation of the works of Descartes is intended to replace the Haldane and Ross edition, first published in 1911. All material from that edition is translated here, with a number of other texts crucial for understanding Cartesian philosophy.

In 1924, Paul Foster Case expanded his First Year Course by developing two advanced lecture series which he entitled Section uConcentration and Section D: Magic. The lectures built upon the material in the First Year Course(which had become known at this time as Section A:The Life Power and Section B: The Seven Steps to Spiritual Unfoldment). The Fraternity of the Hidden Light has recently published both of these lecture series as Occult Fundamentals and Spiritual Unfoldment - Volume 1: The Early Writings. This current volume provides the two additional lecture series that complete the original fundamental course structure of Paul Case. Section C, Concentration, expounds the esoteric secrets of Meditation. This section is a very advanced series of lessons that not only develops the essential skill of concentration but commences the student upon thePath of Return with a series of powerful Qabalistic Meditations. These Meditations have a tendency to facilitate deep spiritual experience in those who are prepared and chose to participate. This lesson series indeed represents some of the most advanced material written by Paul Case. Section D, Magic, provides the esoteric secrets of Magic in a very rare exposition of the fundamental tenets of magical practice by one of the greatest occultists of the 20th century. Here again is material published by Paul Case that cannot be found in any of his later developed lesson series and provides insight into the tools of the trade practiced by Golden Dawn enthusiasts today.
