Summary of Hillary’s America by Dinesh D’Souza | Includes Analysis Preview: Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party is a history of the Democratic Party, which author Dinesh D’Souza argues is the source of all evil and iniquity in American history. Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee for president, is a crook who entered politics for personal gain. As such, she is the natural representative of the corrupt Democratic Party. Some argue that Thomas Jefferson was the founder of the Democratic Party. In reality, the modern Democratic Party and its history of plunder began with Andrew Jackson’s presidency in 1829. Jackson was a military general before taking office. During his military career, he forced Native Americans off their land and then seized it to enrich himself and his cronies. The use of government power for personal enrichment is a quintessential Democratic tactic. Jackson was also a slave owner, and the Democrats were the party of slavery. The real conflict… PLEASE NOTE: This is key takeaways and analysis of the book and NOT the original book. In her years as First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State, Hillary has championed the civil liberties and human rights of all Americans while demonstrating a willingness to use both diplomacy and military force on the world stage where and when required, earning her respect from world leaders and Democrats and Republicans alike. Written by Bernard Whitman and Dr. Brittany L. Stalsburg, this informative book illustrates Hillary’s vision for America, contrasts her stances with the Republicans, and provides the most important facts and ideas that drive Hillary’s candidacy to help the American people make an informed decision before casting their presidential vote.
While numerous volumes have been written about Hillary Clinton, many authors have devoted entire books to just one aspect of Clinton's public or private life. Yet few, if any, single volumes have provided a comprehensive look at her life in public service from an objective, scholarly viewpoint. Designed both for students doing research and general readers wanting to know more about Clinton's life and career, this book not only offers an overview of her education, family, career, and political views, but also provides historical context to her choices, accomplishments, and defeats. The volume's chapters present a chronological telling of her life story thus far including key experiences, influences, and the development of her political views. The volume also includes photographs and short sidebars, which help to tie Clinton's personal experiences to the contemporaneous culture of the nation. A lengthy bibliography provides assistance to readers interested in further research or reading.
Globalism or Nationalism? The question of the day. Many have heard these words, but few understand what they really mean. It is time you found out. Globalism has been around for centuries, however, in 2016 we are faced with the real possibility of Globalism for the first time. In past decades, Globalists have quietly but systematically chipped away at our nationalism, patriotism, religion and self-worth. They’ve been re-writing our nation's history to turn America into something it never has been; unexceptional, unpatriotic, unscrupulous, even going so far as to imply that America is undeserving of existence. We can't let this continue. Today, our country is standing at the proverbial fork in the road. We have Hillary Clinton and her fellow globalists who bully, threaten and use all forms of intimidation to force Americans to walk the path to globalism. They have been plotting this for 30 years and this is their last chance. Our choice: Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump The Globalist or the Nationalist
This current book describes my belief (with input from a great many people) as to how this country got to where it is today, where I fear it is going, and my absolute terror that the American people will elect Hillary in 2008. Why terror at her election? Because that will launch the country toward a totalitarian government. We no longer can believe that our elected officials are patriots. They are more acclimated to power and less concerned about the people and the country's history. The book is a departure from the others. It came to mind when watching a TV discussion group talking about whether Hillary would run for President in 2004. I was terrified that she would run and win. I then thought about it and decided I had some excellent reasons why she would not run in 2004 but would wait until 2008. The book goes into depth concerning the dangers to the Country of electing Hillary. My first three books: There Are No Bad Kids, "Never Underestimate the Arrogance or Stupidity of Government and High On Life were all published by 1st Books Library. The first was written as a result of a traumatic experience in our lives and the second describes what I believe created that trauma. "High On Life" creates a completely different atmosphere. The title came as the result of one of my children becoming hooked on cocaine. I faithfully believe that no one needs a narcotic to get high -- Life is the only high necessary!
On 12 April 2015, Hillary Clinton formally announced her intention to run for President in 2016, casting herself as the ‘champion of everyday Americans’. With near-universal name recognition and the promise to make history as the first female occupant of the Oval Office, all seems set for Hillary to secure the one role that has eluded her to date, but what drives this most intriguing and polarising of political figures? Will she be able to shake off her past mistakes and finally secure the Democratic Party’s nomination? What are her chances of winning the White House? And, perhaps more importantly, what kind of President would she make? Drawing on original interviews with close associates of both Bill and Hillary, as well as a wealth of recently declassified materials from the Clinton archive, James D. Boys offers a clear-sighted, non-partisan analysis of Hillary’s rise to the pinnacle of American power, revealing the political ideology and core principles that have remained a constant throughout.
China has developed sophisticated hedging strategies to insure against risks in the international petroleum market. It has managed a growing net oil import gap and supply disruptions by maintaining a favorable energy mix, pursuing overseas equity oil production, building a state-owned tanker fleet and strategic petroleum reserve, establishing cross-border pipelines, and diversifying its energy resources and routes. Though it cannot be "secured," China's energy security can be "insured" by marrying government concern with commercial initiatives. This book comprehensively analyzes China's domestic, global, maritime, and continental petroleum strategies and policies, establishing a new theoretical framework that captures the interrelationship between security and profit. Arguing that hedging is central to China's energy-security policy, this volume links government concerns about security of supply to energy companies' search for profits, and by drawing important distinctions between threats and risks, peacetime and wartime contingencies, and pipeline and seaborne energy-supply routes, the study shifts scholarly focus away from securing and toward insuring an adequate oil supply and from controlling toward managing any disruptions to the sea lines of communication. The book is the most detailed and accurate look to date at how China has hedged its energy bets and how its behavior fits a hedging pattern.
Hillary Is the Best Choice presents a more balanced view of politics. To start with, politics is neither good nor bad. It is neutral. It can either go good or bad depending on the politicians who are involved. For the first time in American presidential politics, for example, we have a woman candidate. In previous elections, when only men were presidential contenders, the tendency to play "dirty" was always a great temptation. With Hillary Clinton, Democratic Senator from New York and our country's former First Lady, as one of the current leading presidential aspirants, it is our hope that the old pattern of negativity will be replaced by a new pattern of political civility. Politics can be a clean activity. And elections, especially presidential ones, ought to be a matter of choosing the better of two goods (when an independent or third party candidate is running, it will be a matter of choosing the best of three).
This book analyses the nearly 30 years of India–ASEAN relations from a contemporary perspective, identifies the reasons for India’s vibrant and significant relation with ASEAN and examines the cultural, economic, political and strategic linkages between India and ASEAN. The book projects the future of India–ASEAN relations in the face of the changing Indo-Pacific geopolitics and explores potential policies which could enhance the connection between India and Southeast Asian countries. Arguing that ASEAN is of primary importance to India, the book suggests that any successful outing in the Indo-Pacific would need a strong partnership with India. The book demonstrates how external powers influence ASEAN, with many of them supporting the centrality of ASEAN and its regional architecture in the broader Indo-Pacific. Chapters by experts in their fields present thematically specific analyses of political, defence, maritime and cultural aspects as well as the position of Northeast India in the India–ASEAN relations and assess the success and challenges of India’s ties with ASEAN in the context of the Look East and the Act East Policies. A reassessment of ASEAN–India relations past and present, this book will be of interest to academics and policy makers working in the field of International Relations, Asian Politics and South Asian Politics, in particular India’s Foreign Policy and Southeast Asian Politics.

The first inside account to be published about Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state, anchored by Ghattas's own perspective and her quest to understand America's place in the world In November 2008, Hillary Clinton agreed to work for her former rival. As President Barack Obama's secretary of state, she set out to repair America's image around the world—and her own. For the following four years, BBC foreign correspondent Kim Ghattas had unparalleled access to Clinton and her entourage, and she weaves a fast-paced, gripping account of life on the road with Clinton in The Secretary. With the perspective of one who is both an insider and an outsider, Ghattas draws on extensive interviews with Clinton, administration officials, and players in Washington as well as overseas, to paint an intimate and candid portrait of one of the most powerful global politicians. Filled with fresh insights, The Secretary provides a captivating analysis of Clinton's brand of diplomacy and the Obama administration's efforts to redefine American power in the twenty-first century. Populated with a cast of real-life characters, The Secretary tells the story of Clinton's transformation from popular but polarizing politician to America's envoy to the world in compelling detail and with all the tension of high stakes diplomacy. From her evolving relationship with President Obama to the drama of WikiLeaks and the turmoil of the Arab Spring, we see Clinton cheerfully boarding her plane at 3 a.m. after no sleep, reading the riot act to the Chinese, and going through her diplomatic checklist before signing on to war in Libya—all the while trying to restore American leadership in a rapidly changing world. Viewed through Ghattas's vantage point as a half-Dutch, half-Lebanese citizen who grew up in the crossfire of the Lebanese civil war, The Secretary is also the author's own journey as she seeks to answer the questions that haunted her childhood. How powerful is America really? And, if it is

Can this country survive another Clinton presidency? Two terms of “Slick Willy” were bad enough. Now, numerous political experts and people close to the Clinton family hint that Hillary is plotting to retake the White House and ring in another four—or eight—years of a Clinton as commander in chief. She denies any presidential bid is in the works. But a few years before she entered the Senate race, Hillary claimed she would never run for any elective office whatsoever. In shocking detail, Hillary’s Scheme confirms the worst fear of tens of millions of Americans: that Hillary Clinton indeed plans to run for president within the next few years. This explosive, behind-the-scenes book by investigative journalist Carl Limbacher blows the lid off the New York senator’s plans for a grand political coup, something she has been carefully and quietly plotting for more than 20 years. Limbacher conducted extensive research into Hillary’s past and secured exclusive interviews with Clinton insiders—and even questioned Hillary herself—to bring you the real story. What he uncovers are the truly juicy morsels, the backroom deals, and the insider wrangling around Hillary’s presidential ambitions that aren’t being reported in the mainstream press. If you love to hate Hillary or are just curious about one of America’s most controversial figures, there’s plenty in this book to get your blood boiling. You’ll discover the answers to questions Hillary is unwilling to address in public, including: Why is she not likely to wait until 2008 to enter the race for president? How did she torpedo Al Gore’s chances for a rematch with President Bush? Where are the millions of dollars she’s supposedly raising for the Democratic Party really going? Why does she dodge tough questions about her husband’s abysmal record on fighting international terrorism? And many, many more! If you don’t think that Hillary Clinton has a fighting chance to win the presidency, you must
Judging by the stance of the leadership of the Democratic Party and much of the media, Hillary Clinton’s devastating loss in the presidential election of November 2016 was all the fault of pernicious Russian leaks, unwarranted FBI investigations and a skewed electoral college. Rarely blamed was the party’s decision to run a deeply unpopular candidate on an uninspiring platform. At a time of widespread dissatisfaction with business-as-usual politics, the Democrats chose to field a quintessential insider. Her campaign dwelt little on policies, focusing overwhelmingly on the personality of her opponent. That this strategy was a failure is an understatement. Losing an election to someone with as little competence or support from his own party as Donald Trump marked an extraordinary fiasco. The refusal of the Democratic leadership to identify the real reasons for their defeat is not just a problem of history. If Democrats persevere with a politics that prioritizes well-off professionals rather than ordinary Americans, they will leave the field open to right wing populism for many years to come. Drawing on the WikiLeaks releases of Clinton’s talks at Goldman Sachs and the e mails of her campaign chief John Podesta, as well as key passages from her public speeches, How I Lost By Hillary Clinton also includes extensive commentary by award-winning journalist Joe Lauria, and a foreword by Julian Assange, editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks. It provides, in the words of the Democratic candidate and her close associates, a riveting, unsparing picture of the disastrous campaign that delivered America to President Trump, and a stark warning of a mistake that must not be repeated.
Few political figures are as polarizing as Bill and Hillary Clinton. This power couple has generated fiercely mixed reactions since their first appearance on the political stage. A new Clinton era may be dawning, as Hillary again tests the waters for a presidential bid. Uncovering all the layers of myth, rumor, spin, and talk-radio takedowns, this examination is clear-eyed and calm, objectively reviewing the origins, rise, near fall, and reemergence of the world's most influential couple. It is a fascinating tale of hard work, ambition, idealism and calculation, political might and human weakness and, ultimately, the enduring strength of family.
